Till now, the new MacBook pro has generated about 7x revenue against the MacBook 12″ at launch.
And it’s not all, it has generated more revenue than all laptop sold this year.
Data are pretty shocking since it has been criticized a lot (few usb ports, hardware not so good, etc).
Another time Apple has done a great shot, inaspectately, but it did it.
“We know we made good decisions about what to build into the new MacBook Pro and that the result is the best notebook ever made, but it might not be right for everyone on day one.” Apple marketing chief Phil Schiller explained. “That’s okay, some people felt that way about the first iMac and that turned out pretty good.”
